(Fireworks Rain Date: Sunday July 5th - same time, same place!)

Erma Bombeck once observed:

You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness. You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism.

Thank you to the Rotary Club of Westerville for making Westerville's July 4th Celebrations both memorable, meaningful, and big fun, year after year, so we can celebrate our community and country!

The Westerville Uptown Merchants Association wishes you a safe, fun Fourth!

Happy Birthday, America!!

Note: On June 29th, the start-time for the parade was moved from 1:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Photo image:Uptown Westerville is a place for parades from Linda Foor. ©2009 Brickstreet Communications. All rights reserved.
