Uptown Westerville is a Place for View Finders

Saturday, July 18th, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Uptown Westerville is one of many locations on Planet Earth included in the Second-Annual International PhotoWalk.

The International PhotoWalk is co-sponsored by photographer Scott Kelby and Adobe, internationally, and locally by Westerville Life and Gardiner Newmedia. 50 Photographers will sign up for the walk (participation is free) to take slice of life photographs in Uptown Westerville.

The Westerville PhotoWalk begins at Java Central (20 S. State) where participating photographers will gather in the meeting room and patio for instructions and suggestions. Photographers will tour Uptown Westerville together for photo opportunities.

Photographer and sponsor Gary Gardiner explains: "The time chosen for the walk should provide strong sidelighting along the city’s brick streets and across the historical district homes."

Anyone interested in photography can participate, but you must pre-register, only 50 photographers will participate.

And, there is a local prize and international prizes.
