Here's what's up at Java Central, 20 S. State...

Friday 6/12 - Acoustic Open Mic (7 p.m. - 10 p.m.)

Open to all who want to share their talents. Clay Justice will play his electronic wizardry, plus emcee and coordinate the regulars and new voices. (We will have our keyboard available again,by the way.)

Last week’s Open Mic was just great! – it featured 8 performers, including three wonderful new performers (thanks Jim, Sally and Tim!), plus the exciting Egyptian percussion vibes of Adel, Ed and Sharif. We closed with a fantastic jam – congratulations to all!

Saturday 6/13 - John LaFollette (7 p.m. - 10 p.m.)

John is an excellent singer and guitarist who performs a wide variety of rock and pop. (aka Acme Music, with Wile E. Coyote as a logo, if that gives you some clue). He is a former lead singer for several bands, now out as a solo.

Saturday – June 20 – Art and Dave KARAOKE makes a return visit! These are great pros with an excellent sound system, a full song list, professional lighting, costumes and accessories to help set the mood. They will sing on their own, as well, and even help you out if needed. We’ll even get Diane and Keri to sing! Great fun,
