We have really enjoyed some of the comments we have been receiving from customer lately particularly customers who haven't been to Meza in quite some time and are pleasantly surprised to see the changes. As we have said before we are in the midst of constant change and evolving the shop; working to achieve just the right mix. We love customers who come to us for recommendations - love the customers who frequent our tasting events and enjoy chatting with people that we have gotten to know in the community.
We take a great deal of pride in the wines we select - tasting each one (no we are not complaining about this part), learning about what they would pair with, making sure that they are interesting and unique and priced right. We know how important that last part is to customers. Value. It is just as important to our own family. We look for quality wines that are affordable...and we sell our wines at state minimum pricing to ensure that you are getting the best value possible.
As we expand and perfect the "recipe" of Meza over the upcoming months we look forward to adding more events, more opportunities for tasting and enjoying great wine and other great additions to the assortment. We bring in new wines all the time and love adding to the variety!Don't see something you love on our shelves - just ask! If we don't carry it, we will be glad to get it for you.
Wine Tasting EVERY Friday Night at Meza!
One additional change you will notice is that we will no longer be sending out our e-vites for tasting events. Instead we will be sending the information for our events within our weekly newsletters. Our tastings have become a fun, casual Friday night event and we welcome anyone to just stop in and taste!
Special events such as our previous, highly popular Wine and Chocolate pairing will require an RSVP by e mail to vinomeza@gmail.com.
So check out our events for February and keep an eye out for our spring tastings!

Banfi Rosa Regale ($20) Sweet and sparkling, this wine has beautiful raspberry flavor and would be amazing with chocolate covered strawberries for a special end to the evening.
Lineshack Cabernet Sauvignon ($15) Red wine lovers.....what is better than deep, rich Cabernet with dark chocolate?! Not a while lot! This Cab is pretty amazing for the price.
Trentadue "Chocolate Amore" Port ($23) This dessert style wine made from Merlot grapes has a tiny amount of natural chocolate flavor infused into it - the result is out of this world.

Best Superbowl Wines (great wines for big parties) Friday, February 5 (6:30 - 9:00 pm)
While most of you plan on drinking beer for the Superbowl, if you are having a big party you want to offer variety. Here are some of our suggestions for great party wines that are affordable, enjoyable on their own, or are great to enjoy with burgers, pizza, or wings! Great wines you will want to have on hand in your home for any gathering or occasion.

Best Valentines Day Wines Friday, February 12 (6:30 - 9:00 pm)
Looking for the perfect wine for a romantic Valentines Day? Stay in this year and snuggle up with the one you love with a great bottle of red or toast the night with a beautiful sparkling wine or Champagne. Pair a delicious and sinful dessert wine with a seductive chocolate dessert. Chocolate gift boxes will be available for sale by the Chocolate Octopus this evening.

Rioja is a hot hot hot region of Spain right now for wine production. We love Spanish wine..as many of you do too!Come by and taste some great wines from this exciting area of Spain!

Blind Tasting Friday, February 26 (6:30 9:00 pm)
Last time we did this type of tasting it was a hit! Come test your wine knowledge and taste buds. We will put 6 wines against each other in a blind tasting. Guess the correct varietal, region or even which wine is higher in price. For those of you that love a little friendly competition, this is one not to be missed!
