Uptown Westerville is a Place to Support Community

During the Pumpkin Drop, the Westerville Uptown Merchants Association will be presenting the Westerville Fire Department with a check for $100 for 2 bricks at the Firefighters Memorial on W. Main.

The memorial sculpture will be made from steel that withstood the impact on Sept. 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center.

WARM (the Westerville Area Resource Ministry) and the Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market have teamed up to create the WARM Fresh Green Program. WARM Fresh Green provides vouchers to folks they recognize so everyone has access to the fresh, healthy foods and fruit-bearing plants at the Uptown Westerville Farmers' Market.

During the 2009 market season, over market patrons in need redeemed over $2300 in WARM Fresh Green vouchers.

The audience at the Midnight Madness Classic Chiller Movie, sponsored by Amish Originals Furniture Co. and Edward Jones Investments, can purchase a raffle ticket to win the chance to watch our feature film, Psycho, in the Best Seats in the House: two recliners provided by Amish Originals. All raffle ticket sales will be donated to WARM Fresh Green.
