Uptown Westerville is A Place to be Home for the Holidays

The Westerville Uptown Merchants Association invites you to bundle up in your coziest warm and light up the holiday season for Home for the Holidays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, December 5th.

The evening begins at 7 p.m. at City Hall for the City of Westerville tree lighting featuring candlelight, holiday carols, and the arrival, via firetruck, of a very special, very honored, North Pole-based, jolly old guest!

Make cozy holiday memories in Uptown Westerville and enjoy the beautifully decorated shops & businesses, dinner, drink & dessert, extended shop hours, holiday specials, horse-drawn carriage rides, music, and other holiday treats.

After the tree lighting ceremony, Santa Claus, will get down to work, taking special holiday wishes from kids at North Pole: Westerville at Java Central, 20 S. State.

From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., take in the holiday sights and sounds of Uptown Westerville with free horse-drawn carriage rides sponsored by Amish Originals Furniture Co., Morgan's Treasure, Suite 59 Hair Design, Union Savings Bank, Westerville Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, and Westerville Dental Associates: Dr. Brian Stickel, DDS Dr. Gretchen Zody, DDS, and Dr. Jason Kahan, DDS.

Home for the Holidays also features strolling carolers from the Westerville North High School Notables, music from Westerville Central High Schools' Jazz Central, a Secret Gift Shop for children at Gallery 202, 38 N. State, cookie decorating at A Gal Named Cinda Lou, 20 N. State, the Westerville Public Library Storyteller with Booker the Bunny at Amish Originals, 38 N. State, letters to Santa at It's All In the Name, 20-K S. State on the Brickwalk, and the Westerville Citizens Police Academy Alumni's Westerville Bobbies.
