Uptown Westerville is a Place for a Holiday Parade!

Mark your calendar for Sunday, December 7, 2008! It's a holiday parade! Have family fun, warm your hearts, and help those in need in our community with the Westerville Sertoma/Jaycees Annual Children's Christmas Parade.

Beginning at 1 p.m., and heading north on State Street, this year's parade theme is WARM Your Heart This Christmas, focusing on raising food donations and money for WARM (Westerville Area Resource Ministry) and Westerville Caring & Sharing.

The Christmas parade is also an opportunity for community involvement -- give yourself an early gift and gain recognition for you, your organization, your business, or your neighborhood by becoming a parade sponsor or by entering a float.

Sponsor levels include:
$100 sponsor- name and address is listed in program passed out the day of the parade
$400 band sponsor- name is listed in program, a banner with your name is also carried ahead of North, South, or Centrals Marching Band

If anyone is able to discount or donate a portion of printing costs for the parade programs that is also needed, and if someone wants to sponsor Santa's float please contact Chris Shaheen for additional info.

Anyone interested in helping to sponor the parade can contact Parade Chairman Chris Shaheen at 614-212-7944 or chris.shaheen@askbeacon.com or feel free to contact Jarrett Bauder at 614-256-2742 or bauderjarrett@gmail.com.

Any person, neighborhood, business, or organization that would like to have a float in the parade, please visit www.westervillesertoma.org to download an entry form.

See you at the parade!
